 | Dr. Sabine Seufert represents the Executive Director of SCIL (Swiss Centre for Innovations in Learning) at the Institute of Business Education and Educational Management under the scientific lead of Prof. Dr. Dieter Euler. Additionally, she has been elected as Senior Lecturer for Educational Management at the University of St.Gallen. She studied business administration, information management, and pedagogy at the University of Erlangen-Nuernberg, Germany and received her Ph.D. in information management of the University of Muenster, Germany in 1996 ("Dr. rer. pol."). After her academic studies she worked two years as Higher Education Teacher at vocational schools in Bavaria and received her teaching diploma (“2. Staatsexamen”) in 1997. From July 1997 to April 1999 she has been the co-founder and project manager for the Learning Center at the Institute for Information Management at the University of St.Gallen. From May 1999 to 2001 she has been responsible for the Executive MBA in New Media and Communication under the lead of Prof. Peter Glotz at the Institute for Media and Communication Management at the University of St.Gallen. In 2000 she stayed for several months as Visiting Scholar at the Stanford Learning Lab to investigate the potential and development of eLearning, in particular of learning communities. |
